Concept design for a nature trail in Battir, West Bank, prepared as part of the Decolonizing Architecture residency for UNESCO. The minimalist interventions proposed were presented in a A3 book that served as a working document between Decolonizing Architecture and UNESCO.
The program aimed to 'occupy' the land – thereby protecting it against Israeli re-appropriation – through low-impact architectural interventions. The series of propositions formed a nature trail and an outdoor museum of vernacular agriculture.
